A Swift U-Turn

I'm scared. Just last week I made a firm decision to put a chunk of cash into a stable and financially sound company paying decent dividends. I even went to the trouble of transferring said monies into my brokerage account (National Irish Bank). However, all over the media in the past couple of days I've been reading that traditionally September and October have been rotten months to invest in equities. That wouldn't in itself spook me; however the recent rallies - including today - suggest to me that the correction could be pretty severe.

To counter-balance this negativity, the dollar lost ground today and as the company I'm looking at is U.S. based, I'd get more bang for my buck.
