As I write this The Dail has been suspended for 10 minutes as Arthur Morgan TD (Sinn Fein) has refused to leave the house after being ordered to do so (for being disruptive). Nuts! As childish as the behavior is of a grown man, it probably does paint a picture of the disruption and angst the government can expect as it tries to put the NAMA legislation under the spotlight.
Today also it is reported that Irish Life and Permanent may be (forced or otherwise) leading a step towards consolidation in the Irish financial services market.
Folks, it's September, as I've said before, the big boys are back at their desks, and we can expect some interesting times in the next few months in Ireland. For the next few days though, it'll be NAMA NAMA NAMA.
